Tanzania 🇹🇿

We have been learning about Tanzania over the past two weeks. When we were learning about rocks and minerals we learned about tanzanite. It is a blue gemstone more expensive than diamonds! It is only found in a very small area of Tanzania.

We also learned about African musical instruments and how the music from different areas sounds.

Finally we learned about the art of Edward Tingatinga from Tanzania. He used bicycle paint to make colourful pictures of Tanzanian nature.

We have a display in the GP room and an art display in our classroom.
