Today Mícheál came to speak to the classes about the importance of hedgerows.
They are a very unique habitat for wildlife and they also soak up lots of water.
We saw brambles, nettles, whitethorn, ivy, sycamore trees, sloes, whins, fungi, insects, honeysuckle, hoverfly, beech, oak, acorns, moss, woodlice and lots more!!
Look at all we found-
