Marine Explorer Programme.

For two weeks Mairead has been telling us about the oceans, their importance and the creatures that live in them.

Today we learned that in fact all our oceans are really one big ocean! The first week we learned about seashore creatures. Today we learned about cetaceans- dolphins and whales. We watched a video of whales, dolphins and birds feeding together. We also learned that many of them are baleen- they have no teeth.

Now we are going to design a Christmas card or decoration based on marine life.
