Edible Trees

Today we joined a zoom lesson about edible trees. The speakers are very involved with green schools.

We learned about the various trees that provide food for ourselves, birds and animals.

Trees also provide a habitat for other food providers to grow such as mushrooms, wood sorrel and wild garlic.

We were mentioned on the zoom because we were the first class to answer that sloes grow on blackthorns!👏
