1st & 2nd class assembly

1st & 2nd class presented a fun assembly today.

They said a lovely Irish poem called Ag Scipeáil. Then another poem called Here is the House.

They have been learning about percussion instruments. They held a steady beat while Ms Mc Tiernan played the flute.

Then they used symbols to play a beat. 🎶 🎵

Finally, they sang and danced to Shotgun.

Fr Vincent enjoyed the assembly and we said a poem with him about hunting bears.

The student council updated us on the raffle they have organised. It will be held on May 31st.

Green Schools update from Ms. Toolan was that there is a variety of vegetables growing in our garden box. Daithi and Charlie put wool around the plants to stop bugs and slugs from eating them.
